i have been blessed to encounter the "Wilkie Family" since the early l960's. Father Rich, Mom Alice, and daughters: Linda, Sue, Diane & Jeanne have all been a part of my life. Diane, or "Dee" as i call her shared grammar, jr., and high school together along with lots of other things...i.e. brownie, jr. & cadet, girl scouts & AWANA girls club. But...this is a tribute to ALICE. Mrs. Wilkie played a big role in my adolescent life, she always welcomed me into her home with open arms. As a teenager, I was ostracized for being a girl from a divorced family, yet Mrs. Wilkie accepted me. I will meet her again on the other side and sing, "Alice, where r u going?" she will smile....
