I pray for complete peace and understanding. Mr. Jennings was WELL-loved by the Fenger community (he taught me US History my sophomore year of high school and was my muse for doing the morning announcements and continuing my journalism career). He will definitely be missed, but I am SO thankful for being blessed with a fraction of his time and wisdom.

Working with, and just knowing Barry, fun. I am living in CA and have not seen my Fenger Friends since the last reunion, but all are important n my life.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss Diane. Barry was a great teacher, father and friend. I didn't have him as a teacher at Fenger but worked with him and Jerry at Baskins. He always talked about his family and his devotion to you and Deanna. I bet he was a great grandpa too. You and your family are in my prayers. I'm sorry I didn't hear until after the wake.

I am deeply saddened to hear of your great loss. He was one of my favorite teachers, mentors at Fenger, and truly made a difference in my life and that of so many others. What a blessing he was to all of us who wee fortunate to have known him.

Mr. Jennings was one of my favorite teachers at Fenger High School (Class of '88), teaching sociology. It was in his class where I learned how to prepare my taxes. He was an excellent teacher as he will be greatly missed! Praying God's strength and comfort for his family during this difficult time.

I am a former student of Mr. Jennings (class of 88)...I was in his Sociology class. He was a great teacher. He was one of my favorite teachers! I used to love going to his class. They don't make teachers like him anymore. RIP Mr. Jennings

He was not one of my teachers at Fenger but he was a figure recognized throughout the school. Teachers like him were career teachers and cared for the students and were not just there to collect a paycheck. He will be missed.... my condolences to the family
