Carl Curtis Erickson, Orland Park, IL, Born June 21, 1951 passed peacefully on February 21, 2017 at 65 among loving family. Devoted husband of Brenda(Heckler), loving father of Halley, Emily Lewis, Eliza-beth(Lewis) and Karl Knightly, grandfather of Jasper and Cody Knightly. Son of the late Phyl-lis(Waggoner) and David Erickson of Palos Park, by his brothers, Mark (Cathy Miller), Gary (Mary Pavla-kos) and sister Kim (Patrick) McArthur, nieces and nephews Melissa Erickson, Denton Erickson, Keegan, Britta and Gavin McArthur. A Memorial in Celebration of his Light, March 10th at 10:30 AM All Saints Lutheran Church, 13350 S. So sorry to hear of Carl's passing. My condolences to the family. Carl and I were in High School together, drafted together, and went thru Basic Training at Ft. Hood in Washington State, and Combat Medic training together at Ft. Sam Houston, San Antonio, TX. I wish I had kept in contact with him.
