Thank you, Mr. Mascolino for taking me to the Firemens' Picnics, helping Mary and I make dice costumes for Halloween, teaching me to ride a bike on Roberts Drive, giving us a pass on eating the zucchini, dancing with me at my wedding, taking care of my Gram when we left Glenwood, and for so much more. You were, and I will always remember you as, my "surrogate" dad. I will always be thankful to your family for sharing you with me and for letting me be part of the Mascolino clan.

Our hearts go out to the Mascolino family. You are all in our thoughts at this difficult time.
Everytime I see a 1/2 Christmas tree extending from a wall, I will think of Sal. Vicki has shared this story with us every holiday season. How practical! Use only 1/2 of the tree to save space. Do they have 1/2 trees up there Sal? Jennifer (Vicki's sister) and family

Sal, you were always like a big brother to me and I loved you for all that you and Mary did for me in my high school and college years. Your were always there for the whole family and you will always be thought of as my favorite uncle. Paula and I are going to miss you. Rest in peace, "Sonny," and God bless you.

I left the Chicago area over 20 years ago, but my memories of Mr. Mascolino will always be vivid.

He was a vital, forceful, LOUD, but loving man, who was always kind to a shy, quiet girl who grew up wih one of his daughters. And I always considered myself extremely lucky to be included in his family.
