Let start by saying, God has definitely added a gem to his army,I can't say enough about Tom's character, I met Tom when he hired me and when I say I was in a rough part of my life ,Tom treated and gave me a chance to rebuild my life and always believed in me,Tom to me want just a boss he made you feel like part of the family, and family was what I thought of him ,he thought me so many things about the business, and life to here of his passing saddens my heart the world definitely lost a champion here may God rest his soul and I send prayers to the family may seek God in this time for understanding, thank you Tom for all you done for my life, for I wouldn't be where I'm at in my life, without you passing though mine may you rest in piece my friend In jesus name amen

With love and great appreciation for our Dad, His loving devotion to us all will live on in us forever! Our family chain is broken for now, however we all have our precious memories to hang onto and give us comfort.

I´ll share some words here as there´s no way I can keep it together for a speech. I had the privilege of spending the most time with my grandparents as they helped raise me due to my mom having me at such a young age. I remember riding around with him on service calls at Tom´s Appliance & one thing that stood out to me was his relationship with his customers, my grandpa had a way with people & people naturally were drawn to & admired my grandfather. Even in the later years while working with his son Dave, I would often hear people always ask how Tom was doing. One of my favorite memories & there are many, but specifically when it was time for me to help my grandpa with yard work at their beautiful home in Homer Glen. We´d start off with grass cutting & raking leaves & picking up the numerous branches that would often fall from living in the wooded area & we would eventually meet at the fire pit way in the back yard. No matter what was going on in the world that moment of us watching the fire after a days labor was a calming & memorable time for me. We would have great conversations about life & he was always very easy to talk to. I see rare glimpses of him through his kids & my hope is that we can all try to be a little bit more like grandpa. We were all blessed to have so many years of his presence. He is one of, if not the only man that has ever told me he was proud of me. I love you grandpa & I will continue to keep on making you proud.
PS. Thank you for giving me a 2nd chance at life.
