Robert Wesley "Bobby" Riddle

Robert Wesley "Bobby" Riddle, 19, of Farmington, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2011, at his home. Bobby was born Sept. 5, 1992, in Montrose, Colo.
Bobby and his family lived the first 12 years of his life in Carlsbad. It was there that he developed his passion for baseball and an affinity for the Carlsbad Fire Department family.
When he was 12, Bobby's family moved to Farmington, where he participated in various school athletics.
In Farmington, Bobby cultivated his relationship with the Lord and, through Emmanuel Baptist Church, became very active in the community.
Bobby loved spending time with his older sister and hunting and fishing with his father and two older brothers, but more than anything, Bobby enjoyed watching D-backs baseball games with his mom, aunt and cousins.
Though Bobby was taken much too early, the positive effect that he had on his friends and family will last an eternity.
Bobby was preceded in death by his grandpa, Thomas Hadden; great-grandfather, John Riddle; and his great-grandma and great-grandpa Hadden.
He is survived by his parents, Rick and Rita Riddle of Farmington; sister, Sabrina Riddle of Farmington; brothers, John Riddle and wife, Heather, of Carlsbad; TJ Riddle, of Carlsbad; grandparents, Dick and Reta of Farmington and Kaye and Roy Carson of Van Horn, Texas, great-grandmother, Claudine Riddle of Farmington; aunt, Nita Lancaster of Bullhead City, Ariz.; uncles, Robbie Riddle and wife, Lisa, of Washington, Sam Hadden of Denver, Colo.; and many cousins, nephews, nieces and dear friends.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 19, at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 211 W. 20th St. in Farmington.
A celebration of Bobby's life will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20, at Emmanuel Baptist Church, with Pastor Steve Ballew officiating.
Interment will follow at Memory Gardens, 6917 E. Main St. in Farmington.
Pallbearers are Bryan Sharp, JJ Wilcox, Jessie Waldron, Jonathan Moody, JW Doran, Chad Uselman, Danny Carpenter, Patrick Tso.
Memorials may be made to the UNM Hospital Burn Unit, Two Woodward Center, 700 Lomas Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87102, or donations to Four Corners Community Bank.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to all friends and relatives who were so kind and supportive during this time. Your kindness will always be remembered.
Bobby's services are entrusted to Brewer, Lee & Larkin Funeral Home, 103 E. Ute St. in Farmington, 505-325-8688.

Bobby was one great guy! I went to middle school with him, just the 8th grade, but as long as I knew him he was amazing. He will always be greatly missed by me. My parents knew him also, and they are very saddened. His family is in my prayers. He is God's angel now. May god bless you all.

We are so sorry to hear of Bobby's passing. Even though it has been years since we last saw Bobby, we will never forget the days of Little League baseball at National where he and our son, Eli Barnes, played. We will never forget his wonderful, happy spirit, smiling face, and big hugs. He will be missed by all those whose lives he has touched, which are many. I know that he is smiling in heaven with all the other angels.
