Daniel Keith Byrd, age 53, of Elizabeth City, died on Thursday, Dec. 19, 2013 at his residence. He was the son of the late Elbert Jonas Byrd and Shelby Jean Anderson Byrd. He is survived by two sons, K. Adam Byrd and William J. Byrd of Lincolnton; two sisters, Karen B Boyles and husband, Micah, of Lincolnton, and Lisa B. Leslie and husband, Chuck, of Camden. He was predeceased by a brother, Joseph B. Byrd. Private services will be held at a later date. Twiford Funeral Home, 405 E. Church Street, Elizabeth City, is serving the Byrd family. Danny I still miss you very deeply! My mornings just aren't complete without our little messages to each other and I miss the phone calls and visits!
