Harry O'Neal Obituary
Harry dedicated many years of his professional life working with the State of North Carolina before retiring from Moran Towing Corporation. His commitment to his work and his colleagues was well respected by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Harry Franklin O'Neal, Sr. and Carol Ann Wentzell O'Neal, as well as his nephew, Kurtis Scott Lutz, Jr.
Harry leaves behind a loving family who will cherish his memory. He is survived by his devoted wife of 38 years, Patricia O'Neal; his stepson, Morris "Duke" Gray; his grandson, Colby Gray (Emily); and his treasured great-grandchildren, Aria Blehm, Maverick, Charleigh, and Lainey Gray. He is also survived by his sister, Jeanette Willis (Paul); his nephews, Travis Willis and Kurtis Scott Lutz, III; and his sister-in-law, Carol Paul. Harry will be fondly remembered by his many aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends Jon, Caroline, Rylee, and Alyssa.
As we reflect on the life of Harry Franklin O'Neal, Jr., we remember a man of integrity and warmth, whose legacy lives on in the hearts of those who loved him.
A service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to a church of one's choice.
