Mushod Gary Obituary
ELIZABETH CITY - Mr. Mushod Antwan Gary, 18, of 106 Jennifer Drive, Elizabeth City, NC, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, Norfolk, VA.
Celebration of Life will take place on Monday, August 24, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. at Evangelical Methodist Church, Elizabeth City, NC. A viewing will take place at the funeral home on Sunday, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. The family will receive friends at the home of the deceased.
Mushod leaves to cherish his loving memories parents, Mr. & Mrs. Kelvin Moore, Sr., of the home and Shontae Van Alstyne (Gregory) and Michael Gary of Atlanta, GA; four sisters, Lakeisha Moore and Kiara Moore of Elizabeth City, NC, Jaquasha Williams and T'Nia Williams, of Chesapeake, VA; four brothers, Kelvin Moore of Greenville, NC and Jaquae Williams, Tavon Williams and Michael Gary of Chesapeake, VA; paternal grandmother, Pamela Harrison; maternal grandfathers, Monzell Jones and Gary Gatling; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. What do I say and where do I began. It's been 10 years since you left us and there is not a day that goes by that I'm not thinking about you. You would have been 29 years old this year,sad that you never got to see it.Man I'm missing you like crazy, you have a niece and a nephew and one on the way. I was just up here making a payment for my moms obituary and I decided to come and say some things to you. Shod we miss you. I see YOU in Ryan everyday. Lord knows he acts just like you.
Nana Pooh has been gone for a month now and it has truly been hard but your MoMA, Grummy has been here for us every step of they way. I thank God for her. The day of Nana Pooh's funeral I sat on your bed in your room feeding Faith [new edition to my clan] and I had a moment looking around your room and thinking about you. Wondering if you were there... it's hard man... BUT GOD has been giving me some unexplainable strength. I'm at peace bc I know where you all are. Continue to watch over us all.
