Phyllis Liverman Obituary

Phyllis Earline Lee Liverman, 71, of 1014 Hunter St., Elizabeth City, died at Albemarle Hospital, Monday, July 17, 2006. Funeral service will be held at Mount Lebanon A.M.E. Zion Church, Elizabeth City, Saturday, July 22, at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Elsie Cole officiating. Burial will be in New Oak Grove Cemetery, Elizabeth City. Viewing will be Friday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Family will receive friends at the home of the deceased. Stallings Funeral Home, Elizabeth City, is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Liverman was the daughter of the late Benjamin Lee and Martha Cooper Lee. She is survived by her husband, Alfred M. Liverman Sr., of the home; four daughters, Mardenia A. Liverman of Hampton, Va., Earline Haynes and husband, Samuel, of Newport News, Va., Avis Riddick and husband, James, of Elizabeth City, and Ann Cherry of Yorktown, Va.; two sons, Alfred M. Liverman of Elizabeth City and Wayne L. Liverman of Newport News, Va.; one sister, Norma J. White and husband, Aaron, of Hampton, Va.; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
