Mary Greer Obituary
GREENVILLE -- Mary Yvonne (Crawford) Greer, 86 of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Thursday October 12, 2023 at 5:44 AM at her residence. Mary was born January 3, 1937 in Union City, Indiana, the daughter of the late Alva and Mary (Keagy) Crawford.
Mary worked in Retail Sales at J.C. Penney; she enjoyed bird watching, flowers; and especially spending time with her grandchildren.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gerald Greer on May 25, 2014; and numerous brothers and sisters.
Mary is survived by her daughters and sons in law, Candy and Jeff Stump of Ansonia, and Ginger and Kelly Thomas of New Madison; her grandchildren and spouses, Jay Schricker, Darcy and Shane Buckingham, Tyler and Jody Stump, Tara and Nathan Ford, and Kylie and Jeremy Doolin; her great grandchildren, Holden Long, Kiersten Schricker, Clay Buckingham, Nicholas Buckingham, Hunter Buckingham, Madyson Buckingham, Brooke Stachler, Andrew Stachler, Dylan Stump, Eila Ford, Kaid Ford, Cole Doolin, and Maci Doolin; her great great grandchildren, Kayden Buckingham, and Hadley Long; her brother, Jack Crawford; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Wednesday October 18, 2023 at 12:00 PM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio with Chaplain Jacque Collins officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Township Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to EverHeart Hospice.
