This beautiful man with his evocative smile, irrepressible heart, and unrelenting fortitude will surely be missed. I am stunned by this loss, and have never known another with such a dedicated heart for family, laughter and authenticity.

Travel well to the upper skies, good fellow.

And to this beautiful family: Lyndall, Lynne, Michelle, Franki and Connie, please accept my deepest condolences.

I felt deep sadness when I read the newspaper regarding Mr. Franko's death. The memories of my softball days flooded my mind. He always knew how to encourage me to believe in myself and help me do my best.
There was never a dull moment with Mr. Franko. He had a way of enjoying life and it was contagious. Thank you for the fond childhood memories. May his life's legacy brighten the sad days ahead without his omnipresence. My deepest condolences to all of the Franko Family.

Sincerely,
Ronda Massey (Surina)

My oldest memory of Frankie goes back to the late 1940s and early 1950s at Bandini St. School as school mates. Through the years, Frankie and I would never let a moment go by when we would see each other after some time and never stop to greet one another to remember times gone by in that school and neighborhood, and times following up to the present- including occasional Wednesday luncheons at either the Elks Lodge or Ante's. His demeanor and friendship have always been the same throughout all of those years.I will miss seeing him but will never forget him- he will always be San Pedro through and through.God rest your soul old friend;God bless you,Frankie.
To his entire family, my wife and I extend our deepest sympathies, thoughts and prayers. I feel fortunate to have shared time with him in this life and look forward to some with him in the next one.

With regret,

Neil and Susan Iacono

Dear Franko Family:
It was so sad to hear of Frankie's passing. I have fond memories of hanging out at the Franko house on Oliver Street with his brother Jackie and my sisters. That was probably in the late '50s.
Frankie was always a class act. He will truly be missed.
Fondly,
