Kenneth Ferrier Obituary
Kenneth Paul Ferrier passed away on June 30, 2016 at the age of 80. He was born on July 23, 1935 and was a longtime resident of San Pedro, California. He is survived by his wife, JoAnn Ferrier, children, Dennis (Lindsay) Ferrier, Daniel (Makiko) Ferrier, grandchildren, Natasha, Katrina, Genevieve, Luke, Jack, Kate and Jake Ferrier. Ken was a true friend - we did so many things together - Hollywood Park, (Determined and Swaps), Santa Anita, USC track meets and football games. If you hung around with Ken, you were going to compete! He laid the foundation that led to any success that I had in sports. We went to the movies (James Dean and Debbie Reynolds) and as we were always searching, we went to the Methodist Church every Sunday. Ken was big part of my life and at his service on Friday I was reminded that men do cry. My thoughts and prayers are with Ken's family.
