I wrote earlier as seen below. I still think of his father Clarence daily when I walk out my front door and see the house he built. It is still in beautiful shape.

I met Leo only once but I knew his Father when i was a child. Mr. Mock use to come over to our next door neighbor's house ( Lucie and Larry Garcia) and after their early passing my mother continued in Lucie's tradition and Mr Mock became a semi-weekly guest. I met Leo at his father's funeral in Manhattan Beach in the late 60's. I now live the next block over from the house Mr. Mock built at 1201 Oak Ave. It was just recently sold by a subsequent owner, Graham Nash, of Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young". The house has been renovated and modernized but still has the same basic look.

I miss you, Dad. Miss our lunches and sitting at the beach and watching the waves.

So many wonderful memories of Leo and Lucille dating (for me) from 1948. Leo was such a loving and sweet man. He will be missed. Nancy Ormsby Phillips Newberg, Oregon

I met Leo several times years ago while his father was still alive. Our neighbors, Lucy and Larry, had befriended Mr. Mock Sr. and my parents also befriended him as a result. I see the house Mr. Mock Sr. built, and Leo grew up in, daily and am reminded of the two of them each morning when I walk out of my house and see it. It was recently refurbished but maintains the same look as when it was built. I have not seen Leo since his father passed away but am pleased to see he lived a long positive life and had such a positive influence so many people.

I will miss Leo's positive attitude, cute, genuine smile, and his witty jokes. What a wonderful life he lived! The sky's the limit!

My dad (Jaime Haeberlin) worked with Leo at the Manhattan Beach Post Office for most of his career, and I remember him fondly. He was always friendly to us when we were little kids, and remembered us when we grew up. My heart goes out to your family - another M.B. old-timer is gone. Fondly, Maurine Haeberlin

We will miss Leo very much, but we have wonderful memories of what a fine brother- in- law, uncle and good friend he was to us. Especially memorable were all the great lunches/ dinners he and Lucile hosted through the years and many great trips we took together.
