Lori Brown Obituary

Lori Anne Brown

Lori Anne Brown, beloved daughter, sister, niece, aunt, cousin and beloved friend, lost her courageous decade-long battle with cancer on January 25, 2013. Born May 16, 1960 to Colleen Corbett and Eugene Brown in San Jose, CA, Lori was reared by her mother and step-father, Frank Arnold, in a close knit family with her brother Tony (Keren) Brown and sister Joy (Michael) Lawwill. She graduated from Burlingame HS and later studied at AZ State University. Beginning her career as a Kelly Girl at Riviera Finance, she rose through the company and retired as Vice President of Operations. Her memorial is March 9th, 5 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus, Redondo Beach. In lieu of flowers, Lori requested donations go to the charities for which she passionately volunteered: Cheer for Children (www.cheerforchildren.net) and The Boys & Girls Club of Venice Beach, CA. I am deeply to read of the loss of your loved one. Psalms 51:17 reads: "A heart broken and crushed, O God, you will not despise." Rely on the God of comfort and He will give you strength to endure.
