Dear Varon family,
Even though we have not formally met, our sons (Matt & Cos) were fraternity brothers at Delta Sigma Phi. I will forever remember the phone call we received from him informing us of the passing of your son, he told us that Matt was kind, intellegent, athletic and a true leader. Dear Debbie and Russ, I am still in shock and I'm sure you are. I will miss your dear son, he was like a grandson to me. I loved all of Aaron friends. I was so involved in their lives, I am so proud of that, I would see them so often, I was fortuante to be able to be so close to my grandson Aaron and his sisters. I pray for you and your daughter that Matt's memory will always stay with you in a loveing and thoughful way. His memorial service was wonderful. I am so glad that we could come. To the family of Matthew: You don't know me, but I just wanted to send my condolences to you. I also lost a young son so I know how tragic it is to lose a precious child. It's been a year now - and in the beginning, I didn't think I could go on. Maybe you're feeling the same way. I just wanted to say that in time, it does get better.
