My sincerest condolences to Rudy's family and loved ones. His memorial service was a true testament to the man Rudy was and his imprint on society. Rudy was truly an individual who defined the principles of John Wooden's Pyramid of Success. May your memories of Rudy's life always be a beacon to the future and his smile be the light of your life. Manual, Robert and Tony, and Families:
I was so saddened to hear of the passing of Rudy. I have not been in contact with the family since graduating from high school at North High. Manual you and I were closer than the other brothers while we organized and played street football games around the neighborhood. By the way, I am Bob Bass who lived on Cordary Ave. I have a lot of fond memories of playing ball, and some hanging out with you guys. I am very impressed to see of Rudy's accomplishments, and rember him as an energetic kid who could outrun any of us.
A lot of time has passed and we all have changed quite a bit I am sure. I'd like to hear from any of you if you can make some time later.
My heart goes out to you all and your families. May you have the fondest memories of all you have done together. God bless you and your families during this time, Rudy will always be with you.

RUDY WAS ONE OF THOSE RARE, BLESSED PEOPLE, THAT NO ONE, EVER, SAID A BAD WORD ABOUT. I KNEW RUDY IN'61 AND 62, AND TO THIS DAY, HAVE NEVER MET A MORE QUALITY, ALL AROUND, GREAT HUMAN BEING. HE IS THE MODEL THAT WE ALL WISH WE HAD FOR A FRIEND, BROTHER, HUSBAND, SON, FATHER,...SEEMINGLY PERFECT IN EVERY WAY. RUDY MUST HAVE HAD GREAT PARENTS!!

Uncle Rudy was my biggest supporter. He always gave me that thumbs up and smile whatever I did to make him proud. My girls, husband, and I will miss Uncle Rudy dearly. He is my hero and the most courageous man I know. Uncle Rudy will never be forgotten.

My sympathy to the Suarez family on the passing of Rudy. We were close friends in high school, when he used to follow the Varsity Football guys around like a little puppy. Always will remember that great smile of his.

Rudy was one of those rare gifts you meet in life and you know it instantly. He was always up no matter what. He had a smile that just wouldn't quit. He lit up my heart and I miss him.

I am so very saddened by this new's of Rudy passing. I had just posted a note on Classmates.com asking if anyone new where Rudy was these days. I have not seen him since the 80's when he was living in Manhattan Beach. We were very good friends and then I moved to Hawaii and we lost touch. I just was thinking about him the other day wondering if he ever got married had children etc. I send my prayers now to his wife and all of the family. My heart goes out to all of you. He was a very special man. I don't think I ever knew anyone with a smile like his. He was a gift from God and Gods gift to all of us.

Rudy was everyones Friend. All High School Freshman need a Rudy to welcome them to a new adventure. Football was fun because of Rudy. He was a Gentleman of the 1st order and will be in my heart forever. God Bless his Family.

We are so saddened by the news of Rudy's death. What a special guy he was. We went to high school with Rudy and he was a neighbor of my husband's throughout their childhood. My husband still talks about going to Rudy's house and getting fresh tortillas that Rudy's mother had made. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. May God bless you and help you to celebrate the wonderful life of such a special man. Our sympathies are with his family.
