In behalf of Croatian diaspora and all Croatian emigrants in California through 90's, it was a privilege to know Vinko Gusich, the greatest president of Croatian Hall in San Pedro. He loved his old country and dedicated his life to help emigrants and the cause, to see indipendent Croatian state that we have today. We will never forget you !!! Rest in peace .

I knew Vinko through my years of volunteer work. To say the man was one of the classiest and kindest Croatians in San Pedro would be an understatement. I am deeply saddened by the passing of such a great human being. Vinko may you rest in peace in Heaven and enjoy your time meeting all the Gusics throughout history which you so lovingly researched.

Our Deepest Sympathy to the Gusich Family. It will be fitting to support in donation toward establishing a statue commemorating the Blessed Cardinal Alojzije Stepinac. Your Father embraced the same ideals of Love of God, Country and Family. He will be missed by the entire Croatian community. We join with all in extending our heartfelt condolences.
