Kian was a rare specimen.
Being a good person is a choice. I know my first thought isn't always to do the right thing, It's something I need to actively make a choice to do. Kian was not like that, his default nature seemed to be effortless compassion. He is someone I always think about when given the option to do good, and I'm sure many others feel the same way. Ive never met someone who was as deeply warm as kian. He was the type of person who could teach kindness and he will forever be one of the most wonderful people Ive ever met.

We have the warmest remembrances of Kian. He was a great person and an even better friend. We so enjoyed spending time with you: Melissa, Mike, Karly, and Kian and we will always remember how kind your whole family was to us. We miss Kian ever so much.

I met Kian when he was two months old. While I never had the pleasure of knowing him well as a child or young man, I do know he was treasured by one of the most loving and supportive families I have ever been honored to know.

Kate and Kian were friends in first period math this year. She often told me how nice he was and that he made her smile, laugh and even chat at 8am! They talked about skiing and sailing among other things. While they were not close friends, she enjoyed their conversation each morning. She is deeply saddened by his passing. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.
