Allison Albarracin Obituary

A service to celebrate the life of Allison "Allie" Caldwell Albarracin will be held at 4 p.m. on Wednesday at First Presbyterian Church with burial to follow in Henry Cemetery. Visitation was Tuesday from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the church and 3 p.m. until service time on Wednesday.

Allison passed away peacefully on Sunday June 1, 2025 at her residence. She was born on November 15, 1979, in Tupelo to Jimmy and Jan Caldwell. Allison graduated from Corinth High School, Class of 1998, and furthered her education at Northeast Mississippi Community College. In 2004, she married Ben and welcomed Dustin with open arms.

Not only did Allison have her family at home, but she had her church family and work family.

Her church family began at First Methodist Church, and after she and Ben married at First Presbyterian Church, they made it their home church. Allison found her work family, initially, at the Sportsplex manning the office alongside Bill Reid. She carried her business skills with her to Corinth Gas and Water before the car industry became her family at Rides-to-Go.

The concept of serving her community was instilled at a young age through Brownies. This was a foundation that she fulfilled by being a Life Member of Junior Auxiliary. There she worked alongside fellow members by helping and supporting our community.

Allison had interests that ran deep. She was a dog lover. Oreo, B.J. and Baxter were the family members that were right beside her. They cheered for the Ole Miss Rebels, football, basketball, or baseball, almost as devoted fans as Allison was. Camping and boating brought many hours of enjoyment whether supporting her Rebels or camping at Pickwick Lake. Allison enjoyed her special interests, but each were made special by the family of friends that grew from a simple interest into a truly beautiful life well loved.

Allison is survived by her loving husband, Ben Albarracin, and their son, Dustin Albarracin, both of Corinth; her mother, Jan Caldwell of Corinth; her father, Jimmy Caldwell and his wife, Linda, of Corinth; and her brother, Landon Caldwell and his wife, Haven, of Greenwood, S.C.; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Alberto and Marianne Albarracin of Corinth; her brother-in-law, Christian Albarracin; her sister-in-law, Katty Albarracin; and her three nephews, Christian, Pierce, and Clay Albarracin, all of Corinth.

Officiating the service will be Rev. Don Elliott, Rev. Waring Porter and Rev. Kim Ratliff.

Pallbearers will be Ben Long, Micah Monoghan, Michael Wilbanks, Hayes Wade, Jeremy Glidewell and Bobby Capps. Honorary pallbearers will be Corinth High School class of 1998 and the Ole Miss RV tailgate group.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the First Presbyterian Church Deacons' Fund, designated as "Allie's Fund." These contributions will be used to support other families in the community who are battling cancer.
