She was involved with many other organizations and charities during her lifetime.

Georgette's love and concern for the handicapped was very evident in the giving of her time, energy and resources to Summerhouse in Woodland and the Yolo Employment Services.

Georgette was preceded in death by her husband Conrad, her son Eric, and her cousin Beth Feeney.

Georgette is survived by her daughter Lana Sorensen and husband Lance of Selah, Wash.; her grandchildren Erika Mentink and husband Jim of Auburn, Maine, Ryan Sorensen and wife Stephanie of Tijuana, Mexico, and T.J.
