Georgette Louise Staib died in Davis Thursday, Nov. 10 at age 87.
Mrs. Staib was born Jan. 29, 1918 in Lindsborg, Kan. She had been a Yolo County resident for 45 years. She was a member of Alpha Iota Sorority, a docent for the Crocker Art Museum and a supporter of Summer House.
Survivors include Mrs. Staib's daughter, Lana Sorensen and her husband Lance of Selah, Wash.; her stepson, Rolf Staib; her grandchildren, Erika Mentink and her husband Jim of Portland, Maine, Ryan Sorensen and his wife Stephanie of Tijuana, Mexico and T.J. Sorensen and his wife Michelle of Portland, Oregon; her sister, Alice Howard of Flagler Beach, Fla.; and her cousin, Jean O'Connell and her husband Jerry of San Francisco. She was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Conrad Staib; her son, Eric Staib; and her cousin, Beth Feeney.
