Haven't seen Pastor Troy in over 7 years. He was on my mind recently and then I just discovered his passing. Kind of like the Lord telling me that he was up in heaven with him. I remember Pastor Troy's wonderful smile. What a loving man of God. Will miss him. Diana Leys

Dear Linda, Sandy, Jeff, Lori, Melanie, Becky and families.
I was saddened to see that your sweet Dad passed away to be with your Mom. He was a very kind man that will be missed by all who knew him. My condolences to all of you.

Ohhhhh Troy! You and Eileen often served as greeters to congregants, as we entered New Testament Church (now Home Church) on Sunday mornings. Your smiles and hugs melted many a heart! Your love for everyone was palpable! And then, as your lovely Eileen failed, we watched as you never faltered in your love and dedication to her. Again, your love was so evident. Your life truly demonstrated your love for Jesus, the gospel, the word of God, and your incredible family. We will never forget you, and are so privileged to have known and served with you!
Rest now and enjoy heaven! We will see you there!

What a legacy indeed! My heart goes out to all who knew and loved him, and there are MANY! I shared a story with Delaney one time of being stuck behind him as he was transporting folks from Walter´s House to church. (I think his top speed was around 18 MPH.) She instantly responded with " He was reminding you to have a moment with Jesus." So true!! I think of that story often. May he rest in Heavenly peace.
