Rev. Albert Schofield, Jr. WEST HURLEY- Rev. Albert Schofield, Jr., age 78, of John Street, West Hurley, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, Jan. 24, 2014. He was born in Cornwall, on June 13, 1935 to the late Albert Schofield, Sr. and Marian Baldwin Schofield. He was a Production Analyst with IBM for 36 years, retiring in 1991. He was Secretary for the Full Gospel Businessman’s Fellowship International from 1989-1992. He was supply Pastoring for various churches beginning in 1991 and became Pastor of the Binnewater Union Free Chapel in November of 1992. He was a member of the Institutional Review Board of the Benedictine Hospital/Health Alliance of the Hudson Valley from November 1999. He ministered to various nursing homes in the area beginning in 1991. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Mary Lou; a daughter, Sharon L. Schofield of West Hurley; son, Stephen M. Schofield of Ocala, Fla.; a brother, Gary Schofield and his wife, Nancy of Wallkill; a sister, Mary White and her husband, David of Wallkill; several nieces and a nephew. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the George J. Moylan Funeral Home Inc., 2053 Route 32, Rosendale. Interment will follow at the Rosendale Plains Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the Binnewater Union Free Chapel, c/o Walter C.
