Joel LeGoff Obituary

Joel LeGoff SAUGERTIES - Joel LeGoff, 62, of Allen St. died Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2014 after a brief illness. Born March 20, 1952 in Marseille, France he was the son of the late Eugene and Antoinette LeGoff. An area resident for many years he was employed as a Optical Engineer at Spectral Systems in Hopewell Junction for over ten years. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish and held memberships in Ducks and Trout Unlimited. He enjoyed playing softball but enjoyed to a greater degree watching his sons during their athletic contests. Survivors include his wife, JoAnne, with whom he recently celebrated their 39th Wedding Anniversary. Three sons: Joel and his wife, Beth, Adrian “Ace”, and Derek LeGoff, one sister: Marie LeGoff, one niece: Renee LeGoff all of Saugerties and grandaughter: Kaelin LeGoff. He was pre-deceased by a brother, Herve LeGoff. His Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. Cor. of John & Lafayette Sts. Saugerties. Friends will be received Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Expressions of condolence may be shared with the family at SeamonWilseyFuneralHome.com
