Margaret A. Arsenault

1943 - 2020

MILAN-Margaret A. Arsenault, 77, a longtime Milan resident, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 24th, 2020 at Northern Dutchess Hospital in Rhinebeck, N.Y. Born on Aug. 19th, 1943, in Rhinebeck, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Charles and Margaret Lucy (Reirnuth) Young. Margaret married Joseph Arsenault on Nov. 14, 1959 in Good Shepherd Church Rhinebeck, N.Y. and he predeceased her on May 23, 2018. Margaret worked as a restorer/Painter with the NYS Parks & Recreation based in Hyde Park, N.Y. She also worked for Battenfelds Farm in Milan and at the Dutchess County Fair Grounds in Rhinebeck. In addition to her work and raising her family, Margaret also volunteered with Milan Rescue Squad. She is survived by her loving children, Rosemary (Mark Churton) Fazzina of Milan, N.Y., Teresa (William) VanTassell of Livingston, N.Y., Annette (Rick) Coon of Milan, N.Y., Karen (Michael) Stanhope of Milan, N.Y., and Joseph C. Arsenault of Milan, N.Y.; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; along with extended family and friends. Her two sisters, Kathleen Weingaertner, and Nancy Edmundson predeceased her. Friends may call at the Burnett & White Funeral Homes on Wednesday, Dec. 30th, 2020 from 4 to 7 p.m. Funeral service and interment will be private. Due to Covid-19/ NYS Guidelines- masks, social distancing, & capacity limitations will be adhered too during all services.
