Austin Reid Obituary

Austin Nathaniel Reid, 26 years old, went home to be with his Lord, Jesus on November 23, 2021. Austin was born on October 10, 1995, at Bellevue Woman’s Hospital in Schenectady, New York and graduated from Scotia-Glenville High School. He moved to Florida for a better life and worked hard to achieve it in the hospitality industry while being promoted in every position he had. Austin enjoyed playing with his dog Skyler, drawing, and decorating for Christmas. He loved to spend time with family and friends, riding bikes, playing video games, playing his guitar and making music, and just hanging out. Austin was funny and such a jokester. He was kindhearted and had empathy for those who suffered. Austin died unexpectedly at home and will now live forever in the hearts of his family who loved him dearly and he will be missed by all who had the privilege to be in his circle of friends. He leaves behind his father, Mark, mother, Angela and sister, Alexandra. He is also survived by paternal grandparents, John (step-grandmother Joann) and Maria, maternal grandparents, David and Joan (step-grandfather Bob), his aunts, Stephanie, Bridgette, and Jessica (Steve),and his cousins, Nick, Dylan, Katie, and Kara. There was a small, private ceremony for his family at the beach on December 14, 2021.
