Dear Engle Family,
Your Mom was my mentor and support through my years at Shaker. I loved and respected her and sorely missed her after she retired. We worked together closely and she was one of the best teachers ever at Shaker High School. We kept in touch after she retired but sadly I have not seen her in a few years. I will always remember her kindness to everyone and that she was not just a role model for the students but for us teachers as well. I send my sympathy and regret that I am out of town and not able to attend the services.

I was fortunate to be one of Mrs. Engle´s Social Studies students at Shaker. She was a caring teacher who inspired her students to be the best and be good citizens. I fondly remember her sharing her experience as a member of the crowd that witnessed Team USA Hockey´s `Miracle on Ice´ at the 1980 Winter Games. Heartfelt condolences to Mrs. Engle´s family and friends.

I remember Mrs. Engle well. She brought energy and enthusiasm to her classes. She loved her subject matter and it showed in her teaching. I am grateful to have been one of her students.

I loved Mrs. Engle. She was a wonderful teacher and really made an impact on me back in 11th grade social studies at Shaker. I can still see her in my memories, small, but full of energy for teaching. Thank you, Mrs. Engle.
