Carol Skipp Obituary

Carol A. Skipp MECHANICVILLE- Carol Ann Skipp, 80, of Saratoga Ave, died peacefully in the comfort of her home on July 24, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Mechanicville on January 31, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Irene Marshall Clements.
A homemaker and proud mother of 2 boys, she also waitressed at Shag A Val, Schaghticoke for many years. She previously worked as a cook at the Commercial Hotel, Mechanicville. She was an avid bowler who was a longtime member of the Stillwater Women's League. At home, she enjoyed cooking, baking, and evening rides through the Saratoga Battlefield with her husband Clarence.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Clarence J. Skipp, whom she married June 24, 1967, two sons, Joseph(Danielle) Skipp of Buskirk, and Marc(Christina) Skipp of Guilderland, grandchildren Parker and Peyton Skipp, and Madison Parrish, her brothers John(Barbara), Paul(Cheryl), David(Beth), and William(Tina) Clements, and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, July 28, 2024 from 2 to 4 P.M. at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 S Main St. Mechanicville, NY 12118. A Funeral Mass will be held at 12:30 P.M. on Monday, at All Saints on the Hudson Church(St. Paul's) in Mechanicville with burial to follow at Saratoga National Cemetery.
