CASSANDRA BOONE Obituary

Cassandra A. Boone, 19, of Schenectady, tragically died on November 16, 2011 as a result from injuries sustained in an accident. Born in Schenectady on January 10, 1992, she was the beloved daughter of Pamela Bolden. Cassandra had a very kind heart and within minutes of meeting her, you could tell she was anything but ordinary. She was loved by everyone she met. She dreamed of owning a daycare and had a way of connecting with the children she met. She volunteered at Schenectady Day Nursery on Lafayette St. in Schenectady, where she worked like she was getting paid double. Cassandra was a proud student of Schenectady County Community College. She dedicated her time to becoming the best student she could be and was a pleasure to have in class. With her hard work she was a straight A student and achieved more than she thought she would. Her love was very altruistic. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her sister, Brittany Bolden; three aunts, Florence and Lydia Bolden, and Bernadette Sykes; three uncles, Willie Sykes, Tony Bolden and Richard Tartt; a host of close cousins, and other relatives and friends; and her boyfriend, Joshua Santana. Services will be held on Monday at 5 p.m. at Light's Funeral Home, 1428 State St., Schenectady. The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday from 1:30 until 5 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. To express condolences visit www.sbfuneralhome.com

May "He Whom Creates" give Grace & Peace to the family and friends. Our plan may-not agree with the plan "God" has for us. When we take the road of life, we are at "God's" will, but remain with the question "why has this happen" but no answer to satisfy our soul from a human. The best we can do is show concern, give support; pray we have a fertile heart so the tears can be the rain that produce a memorial of loving deeds & thoughts of our yesterdays with or of love ones.
