Pat, John, Dina, Jen, Mindy, and Emily, I was and am sooo SAD to hear about the passing of David. I just heard of this 2 days ago. I am still in disbelief. I am sorry I wasn't there for all this time as he and I were BEST OF FRIENDS for years. Sometimes life takes different paths for people and you tend to lose touch. FOR THIS I AM SORRY. I know David is in a MUCH better place and not suffering any more. I will ALWAYS remember Dave for his COURAGE, LAUGHTER, KIND and CAREING WAYS. I am so SRY for YOUR LOSS MORE THAN WORDS CAN SAY! ALL THE MEMORIES I HAVE OF ALL THE TIMES WE SPENT TOGETHER WITH DAVID and ALL OF YOU WILL ALWAYS BE CHERISHED.
I will be contact you ALL AS SOON AS I CAN FIND PHONE NUMBERS. I am leaving My email address below in the contact me link.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Mindy,

I haven't seen you in many years. However, Suzette would occasionally tell me about what was going on with you...like you got married, you had a daughter (Emily), she would tell me about your parents moving to AZ and your husband's kidney issues ...because I have stage 4 kidney failure and she would share information that she would get from you.
I am so terrible sorry that you lost your husband and your daughter lost her dad.
I have been told that you are a strong individual.... so stay strong for your daughter. I will keep you both in my prayers. May God send you his peace and grace.

Dave I could not be with you as friends and family payed their respects. Know that you were always on my mind and in my heart. I don't know what I am going to do now for a fight. You were my favorite person to argue with and make up with. May you find the peace you deserve being among our many family members who have gone before you. I'll miss you always and think of you much! Love Aunt Kathie

Dear Mindy, Emily and the Entire Geier family,
It is with a heavy heart that I express my sympathy to you as you grieve the loss of Dave. He was so brave and strong for as long as any one person could be. Emily should always know how much her father cherished her and Mindy, he loved you so. Dina, he always spoke of how grateful he was to you, for your many sacrifices. Dave often told staff at the Rubin how much he loved and cherished you all and his fight was in honor of you! It was always my pleasure to be one of Dave's nurses/techs. God speed to you my friend, you will be deeply missed, but I am eternally grateful that the peace you so deserve is finally yours!

My deepest heartfelt sympathy on the loss of David. He was a member of my kindergarten class and I can recall many times playing on 5th street with David and Dina before we moved to Colonie. The memories are foggy, but I remember David to be fun-loving and recognize his smile in the photo. Take comfort in the times you shared together.

Sincerely,

Dearest Son, You were my first born child, never did I think on the day you were born, that 39 yrs.later I would lose you, I always loved you so very much, and although we had our differences,as all parents and children do, I always loved you unconditionally. You suffered so much the last 10yrs from your kidney disease,I knew you were so tired of fighting the disease, you always said to me, Mom I am just so tired, and I knew you were, but i wanted you to keep fighting. You are not suffering anymore now and are at peace. We will miss you more then words can say and our Love will be with you forever,we will see each other again someday, till that day, know that you will be loved and not forgotten by any of us.and we will all make sure that Emily remembers her Daddy and how much he loved her.All My Love To You My Dearest Son. Love "MOM"
