Dawn Anne Johnson, 49, of East Pine St., died unexpectedly Friday, Sept 17th after stricken at her home. Dawn had a pulmonary procedure on Tuesday at Albany Medical Ctr, was discharged on Thursday, and after several hours at home, suffered from a hemmorrhage and passed peacefully in her sleep. Born in Troy, Dec 7, 1971, she was daughter of Marilyn (Michael) Coffey of Ballston Lake and the late Robert Bushey. Dawn was a retail manager for the FYE store in Albany and GNC store in Johnstown for a number of years, and had also worked as management at the local Family Dollar and Dollar General stores. A huge NFL Chicago Bears football fan,, Dawn also was an excellent trivia player, especially in any music categories. But most of all, Dawn was a faithful wife, loving mother of 3 boys, and doting grandmother "Maagaa" and true friend of many. Survivors include her husband Ernest F. Johnson, sons: Michael McGlauflin, Robert McGlauflin and Thomas (Roni Lynn) McGlauflin all of Gloversville, adored granddaughter Veronica McGlauflin and step grandkids Jacob Allen and Travis Clemons. Sister Diana (Jeff) Latham and nephew Sean of Fort Edward and her chosen sister, Tanya and daughter Mikala Thompson, along with other family and friends. A gathering of friends will be held on Saturday, Sept 25th from 2-4 PM at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 So. Main St, Mechanicville.
