E. Stack Obituary

E. Donald Stack died on Friday March 24, 2023, in Naples Florida. He was born in Schenectady, New York on September 5, 1934. Don graduated from Union College in Schenectady New York in 1957. While at Union, Don was captain of the varsity cross country team, goalie on the varsity lacrosse team, a member of the Airforce ROTC and President of the Chi Psi Fraternity. Upon graduation Don entered the Air Force and after serving he started his professional career with AT&T in New York. He enjoyed a 38-year career with AT&T both in the US and Internationally. He spent the last 8 years of his career running international operations for AT&T in both Tokyo, Japan and Brussels, Belgium. He spent his retirement years playing golf and volunteering in the Catholic church. His priorities in life were always clear, God, Family and Friends.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years Mary Jane Stack; his four children Mike, Cathy, Pat, and Ted; twelve grandchildren; brothers, Dick and Doug. We will all miss his joyful heart and fun-loving spirit.

A Memorial Service will be held May 3 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church in Vienna, VA.

Donations may be made in Don's honor to the Alzheimer's Association.
