ERIC A. BERICAL Jr.

Eric A. Berical, 69, died Saturday, December 3, 2011 at Rosewood Rehabilitation and Nursing in East Greenbush, NY. Born in Niskayuna, he was the son of the late Lillian (Swart) Berical and Eric Berical Sr. of CA. A Vietnam War Navy veteran, Eric worked at capital Region B.O.C.E.S. in Colonie for 17 years. An advocate for animals, he was involved with Revolutionary War and French and Indian War reenactments. Beside his father, Eric is survived by his children, Eric III of TN, Paul of VA, Stacy of FL, Jason of Canada, Christian of VA, Tara of Canada, and Diane Berical of VA; sisters, Sharon Toler (Larry) of VA, and Mindy Berical of CA; a late sister, Patricia Barrett; concerned friends, Sandy Berical and Jim Garner of Schenectady; 14 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Friday evening, December 9th at 6:30 p.m. at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway and Guilderland Ave., Schenectady, with a visitation being held from 6 to 6:30 prior to the service.
