Frank A. Lencewicz

1953 - 2021

Frank A. Lencewicz, 68, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, November 17, 2021. Frank was born on July 3, 1953 in Schenectady, a son of the late William and Josephine Sangermano Lencewicz. He attended Mt. Pleasant High School and began his 30 year career with the City of Schenectady. Frank worked for the city in the Water and Street Departments retiring in 2006 as a supervisor. He was an avid fisherman, golfer, traveled extensively and loved the casinos. Frank was a kind and generous man, who treasured his family, friends and his best four-legged buddy Daisy. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother-in-law, Henry M. Carringi, III. He is survived by his devoted sister, Linda Carringi; niece, Melissa Hotaling; nephew, Brian (Stephanie) Hotaling; many great-nieces, great-nephews and friends. A Service will be held on Saturday at 6:30 pm at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home, 501 Union Street, with Fr. Dominic Isopo, officiating. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home on Saturday from 4 to 6:30 pm. It is requested that Masks be worn. Memorial contributions in Frank's memory to St. Luke's Food Pantry.
