Joseph Costello Obituary

Joseph F. Costello, 87, passed away on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Saratoga Hospital. Joe was born in South Schenectady the son of the late James and Antoinette Costello. He honorably served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Joe worked at the Army Depot and later at the General Electric Company, retiring in 1994. He was a member of the VFW Post #1895. Joe was predeceased by his wife, Iola Vitch Costello; a son, Joseph Costello; a sister, Angelina Brunette. He is survived by his children, Annette (Scott) Jerome; Linda Bernard; Vicki Costello; Raymond Costello and Daniel Costello; fourteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; an uncle, Ernie Costello and a cousin, Joanne Parker. A Service will be held on Monday, 11 a.m., relatives and friends are invited to call at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home, 501 Union Street. Interment will follow in St. Anthony's Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home on Monday, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
