Louise Doriguzzi Obituary

Louise Doriguzzi
Ballston Lake- Louise Doriguzzi, age 98, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2023, at home, surrounded by her loving family. Louise was born on May 8, 1925, in Schenectady, NY and was the daughter of the late Louis and Lucy (Tariello) Montecino.
Louise was a graduate of Draper High School. She worked at various locations, including G.E., Fragomeni Insurance, and finally working as the Cafeteria Assistant Manager in the BHBL Central School District. Louise married her late husband, Bruno, on June 20, 1948 and together they shared over seventy beautiful years together, until his passing in 2017.
Louise's greatest pride was her family and she enjoyed spending any time she could with her children, granchildren, and greatgrandchildren. When her own children were young, Louise was involved in the 4-H and the Home Bureau, and later became involved in their children's activities as well.
Louise will be greatly missed and remembered by her wonderful daughter, Kathleen (William) Schwinghammer; her loving grandchildren, William Schwinghammer Jr. and Elizabeth Page; her adoring great-grandchildren Matteas Stevens, Emma and Evan Page, and Harper Schwinghammer.
In addition to her husband and parents, Louise is predeceased by her daughter Donna D. Doriguzzi, her sister Clara May, and her dear brother Norman Montecino.
A Funeral Service for Louise will be held privately for the family.
Interment will be held at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville, NY.
A special thanks to all the wonderful Hospice caregivers who helped make mom's last day more peaceful, the Eddy Alzheimer's Services and to Mary Salm from Our Lady of Grace Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011.
