I only knew Luke in elementary school. He was a great person. He was very nice to everybody. He had amazing friends that cared about him and still do. May he rest in peace and always be in our hearts.

We are so sorry for your loss Chrissy, Dan and Nicole. We have many memories of Luke (or Duke as I called him) up at camp with us. Dillan and Luke were always together, inseparable. Luke was always one of the 6 or so kids that were in the back room in the morning when we woke up. Anytime Chrissy was looking for him she would always come knocking on our door. Whether it being playing videos games on rainy days, making castles on the beach, or putting mud all over themselves with all the clay. I think the most memorable time was our adventure on sand island during the thunder storm. We will never forget all wonderful memories you gave us Luke. We love you now and forever. Rest in peace my sweet "Duke".

Luke = light giver. He was a light to our family and is now residing with the brightest and greatest light of all, Jesus Christ . We may never understand the 'why' but if we accept the gift of comfort, hope and salvation that God offers to each of us, will have hope and be able to pass on Luke's (and HIS) light to each other and to those who may be struggling in the darkness. In sadness but also thankfulness to have been blessed with 15 years of our light giver ❤

I can clearly see Luke, white white hair, curled up with a blanket playing a video game at our house when he was around 8-9 years old. Dan had brought Luke up to the North Country on a hunting trip. When I heard of Luke's passing I instantly remembered a little boy with hair so blond holding on to his mommy's hand as they brought big sis into school. His smile was infectious! Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire family.

Luke,
Last year, our English class always knew when you had a math test because you would be wearing a dress shirt and a bow tie. As you said, "You have to dress for success." You were smart and funny and quiet and you will be missed. Everything you brought to the room was good; it was positive, never negative. I never heard you say a mean thing to anyone. We can all learn a lot from that. Now that you are a "townsman of a stiller town," I wish you, your family, and your friends peace, love and strength in this time of sorrow.
May God quiet the troubled hearts of those who loved you and whisper in their ears, "Don't worry, all is well. He is with me now."
