Michael Curran

Michael "Mickey" C. Curran Ballston Spa - Michael "Mickey" C. Curran, 81, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, January 22, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Little Falls, New York on August 24, 1942, to Michael and Evelyn Curran. Mickey served in the US Marine Corps.
Mickey was a salesman for the Ballston Knitting Company for over 50 years. In his younger years he enjoyed dancing at the Teen Canteen in Burnt Hills. Mickey loved music and was an avid Elvis fan. He enjoyed sports and playing cards on Friday nights with his friends.
Mickey was a generous and kindhearted man and was known as "The Hat" and "The Best Looking Man in Ballston." He is now reunited with his beloved wife of 42 years, Marcia Prisco Curran, and they are dancing together again.
He was predeceased by his parents Michael and Evelyn, and his siblings Peter, Margaret, Ethel, and John. Mickey is survived by his children Kathy, Michael, Jackie, and Shane, grandchildren Thomas, Andrew, Gina, and Olivia, siblings Elizabeth, Kay and Danny, and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours on Friday, January 26 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Armer Funeral Home, Inc., 39 East High Street, Ballston Spa. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, January 27 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Ballston Spa.
