I am truely grateful for having known Mike so well. He was and will always be a fixture in my memories from College. He was always there for you when you needed him, and there for just about every memorable event I can remember. He was as light hearted and genuine as they come. We'll miss you brother.

Jackie! (As we commonly called each other for no apparent reason other than laughs!) You were a not only a friend but a Great friend. Getting to know you over the last 20 or so years showed me that true friends are a gift and that gift should be cherished. From the many trips to the endless jokes and laughter to more serious talks of family and work life it was something that I will never forget and never be able to duplicate. As I sit here now and reflect on all the memories I find myself smiling just to have known you and become your friend. I love you and miss you. Until we meet again Jackie! Rest in Peace.

I have been fortunate to know Mike for almost 15 years. When we met, we were both essentially beginning our careers and soon became fast friends. I think its because Mike was such a fun-loving, compassionate and honest person. Not to mention an avid animal lover like me. I trusted his opinion because I knew it came with no pretense and was from the heart. With so many shared experiences, some daunting like 9/11, some exuberant like sharing in our happiness when we each found our true love, I will never be able to put into words how much his friendship meant to me. I am going to miss him. It was a privilege knowing him, not many come along like him and it was a true honor to call him my friend. You will forever be missed but never forgotten.

Although I have not been in touch with Igoe since our college days, I had the honor of being his friend and classmate for many years. We all helped each other so much in our senior year and graduated together. He was a super nice, funny guy who I know grew into a great man. Although he was taken way too soon, his memories will live on. Anytime I am reminiscing with my girls from Coastal, Igoe is always in our stories. RIP

As pledge brothers Mike and I formed a friendship that was literally burned into our hearts. For years to come as I played behind him on our football team, I protected him. Now he protects all of us as our angel. The times we shared will live on forever. His legacy forged in an elevator shaft that only an elite few know about. My heart goes out to his family.

There are many ways I respected Mike but my top two were his enthusiasm for life and his passion toward being a good friend. 100% of the time I saw Mike he gave me a huge smile..... always accompanied with bellowing out some funny nick name he'd make up or just simply my last name. My day immediately brighten 100% of the time I was around the guy. I always admired how much importance he put on friendship. When I think of him, I think of a handful of his college friends that he held so dearly its hard to think of him without thinking of them too. I have no doubt he was the same with many of the family, friends and loves from other areas/stages of his life. I pray for all of you. I pray for Mike and remember him always - while his lively greetings improved my days, his approach to friendship improved my life.

Marietta, Dawn, Mike Igoe Sr, Mike Sullivan, Codi and Jay, Michael was a true gift to everyone he met. Mike and I met as boys and helped each other grow up to be men. Though he has left us far to early, he is an angel on our shoulder enjoying watching us live on. I will think of you every day until I see you again brother.

Very sad to hear about the loss of Mike. He really made our days at coastal......well adventurous is the word that comes to mind. You couldn't find a man with a biggier heart or a bigger love of life. He was a great fraternity brother and friend. Taken way too early. Every time we think of our Chicago family we fondly remember Michael. Some of our most fun and happiest family memories were with him. We admired him for his kindness, humility, lightheartedness, and deep love for our cousin, Marietta. He fit into this Greek family so well and easily made us all fall in love with him.

Nick and I were incredibly saddened to learn of Michael's passing. His enthusiasm, passion, and zeal for life will be missed tremendously. He touched so many of us with his bid kid at heart personality. We send our deepest sympathies to his family and in particular to our dear, dear friend Marietta, Michael's partner in crime. Michael respected, cherished and loved his wife and we know he is watching her from above.

‘I not only was fortunate to grew up with Mike but was able to share 4 unforgettable years as his roommate at Coastal. He not only help me mature and grow a person but was a mentor to me. We laughed, cried and stressed out together. He wasn't just a best friend but a true brother to me and I won't ever forget all the times we spent together and memories we shared. Even in Mike's passing he has taught me more about life. His final lesson was to show the people you love, that you love them now, because life is short. On October 4, 2013 our dear Lord called upon one of his finest to join Him in His heavenly kingdom. Michael was one of the most giving, kind, intelligent and good natured souls to walk this earth. He is now an angel watching over us – one of God's top angels! Mike was dedicated to his family, friends and his career. He always put others before himself and did what he could to always be there for his family and friends. Mike was such a great friend. We met 13 years ago at Phoenix Investment Partners and remained friends throughout the years. We had the opportunity to work together again at Fidelity during the past year. He always had a smile on his face and such a great laugh. He will be greatly missed. I met Mike on his many visits to the Toledo PaineWebber then UBS office over the years. After we moved to Chicago Mike would always take the time to re-connect on his sometime Fridays in the office. Mike was a true professional who deeply cared about his work, family and friends and he will be missed by all he touched. My deepest condolensces.
