Patrick D. Sena

Patrick D. Sena Greenfield Center Patrick D. Sena, 74, passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning at his home after a long illness. Patrick was born in Brooklyn, a son of the late Patrick and Myrtle Sena. Pat enjoyed spending time at the race track, playing Black Jack and Pinochle. The most important part of his life however, was his family who meant the world to him. His wife, sons and his grandchildren were the light of his eyes; he was the epitome of a family man. He loved holidays and would put a lot of thought in the gifts he would purchase for his family. Pat loved animals, especially his cat, who would follow him everywhere. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his mother and father-in-law, Modesto and Rose Panetta. Survivors include the love of his life and best friend, Angela Panetta Sena; loving sons, Patrick A. Sena and his wife, Erin and David M. Sena and his wife, Trisha; his adoring grandchildren, Ayva Rose Sena, Patrick D.M. Sena, Josephine Emigh Sena and Charlotte Elena Sena; cherished brother-in-law, Gary Panetta; and beloved feline companion, Scamper Sena; he is also survived by many wonderful family members and friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Desmond DelGiacco and his staff for all of his years of care for Pat. Services will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. from the Ferrari Funeral Home, 1503 Union Street (at McClellan St. in Jones Funeral Home), then to St. John the Evangelist Church, Union Street, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Ferrari Funeral Home on Sunday from 4 until 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made in Patrick's memory to the SPCA of Upstate New York, 588 Queensbury Avenue, Queensbury, NY 12804.
