Paul Wojcicki Obituary

Paul Wojcicki Town of BroadalbinPaul G. Wojcicki, 69, of County Highway 107, passed away peacefully Wednesday evening at the Hospice House in Gloversville with his loving family at his bedside. He was born April 26, 1943 in Niskayuna, NY and he was the son of the late Peter and Frances Ziobrowski Wojcicki. Paul attended St. Adalbert School in Schenectady and was a graduate of the Mont Pleasant High School. He was a US Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War where he served as an airman in Vietnam. Paul was employed at the General Electric Co. in the Research & Development Division in Niskayuna for 40 years until retiring in 2001. He was a member of the General Electric Quarter Century Club and he attended St. Adalbert Roman Catholic Church in Schenectady. Paul loved artwork especially antiques and enjoyed the outdoors. On June 19, 1966 he married Pauline Marie Wojcicki who passed away December 29, 2002. He was also predeceased by a brother, Peter Wojcicki. Survivors include three daughters, Lori Lynn Gallup of Duanesburg, NY, Lisa Marie Wojcicki of Glen, NY, and Gail Helen Mathias of Amsterdam, NY; a brother, Phillip Wojcicki of Selkirk, NY; and six grandchildren, Rebecca and Gregory Gallup, Derrick and Michael Williams and Justin and Kim Galusha. It was Paul's request that there be no funeral service or calling hours. Cremation took place at the Vale Crematorium in Schenectady. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Mountain Valley Hospice, 108 Steele Avenue, Gloversville, NY 12078. Please sign the family guestbook at www.brbsfuneral.com
