Peter DeMarzio Obituary

Peter DeMarzio, 58, passed away suddenly at his home, Saturday November 20, 2021. He enjoyed time at the ocean, especially on Cape Cod and time playing poker with his buddies Mark Cazer and Matt Ambrose. Over the years, Pete persevered over many obstacles and even learned to ski. In addition to his dad, Peter is survived by his loving wife of 34 years Grace DeMarzio (nee Favata), their son Lou (Jen) DeMarzio, siblings: Lou Ann (Dick) Aceto, Laurie (Bruce) Skala and Mark DeMarzio. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins and Aunts and Uncles. Peter's funeral service will be held Wednesday 1:00 p.m. at Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan St., Schenectady. Calling hours will precede the service from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment to follow the service at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna. Dear Cousins and Uncle Lou,
There are no sensible words to describe the shock and sadness when I heard of Peter´s passing.

I think I can speak for all who had the pleasure of playing monopoly with Peter when we were kids. While we would pout from losing to Pete, his sheer delight when he won the game as he often did, would bring a smile to even the sorest of losers at our games. Those were fond memories indeed.

May Peter rest in peace comforted by the embrace of his dear and loving mother.

Much love and prayers,
Cousin Lisa

I'm so saddened by the loss of Pete. We shared so many fun times over the years. I never had a bad day when I was around Pete. His kindness, sense of humor, and fun-loving spirit was contagious. I just regret losing touch over the past 15 or so years. It was my loss. I wish his family comfort, love and fond memories of an amazing man. God bless you all!
