Robert Donald White

Robert Donald White, 72, passed away peacefully on Mon. Nov.1, 2021. Born at Ellis Hospital, Schenectady, NY, on Dec. 10, 1948, son of the late Donald and Nancy White. Married to the late, Sharon (Piechocki) White (d. 2014). Survived by sisters, Nancy (Richard) Piliponis of Boulder City, NV and Holly (Daniel) DeForest of Manchester, VT, nephews Christian (Kate) Piliponis of Las Vegas, NV, Richard (Heather) Piliponis of Nashville, TN, and nieces Emma and Elise Piliponis and step-nephew Berkley Bragg. Predeceased by his loving wife, Sharon and two special nephews, Andy and Tommy Lundy and his faithful furry friend, Abbey. Bob graduated from Linton High School in 1967 and from SUNY Oswego earning a bachelors degree in Mathematics. Bob worked as an IT Specialist in the Executive Benefits Dept. of General Electric for over 40 years. He and Sharon were members of the Edison Club in Rexford, NY. Bob enjoyed golfing and boating at Sacandaga Reservoir with good friends Al and Carol Holmes and their families. Bob remained close to his childhood friend, Jim (Margaret) McLane and they had many fun adventures through the years. A visiting hour will be from 2 to 3 p.m. on Mon. Nov. 8, 2021 at Jones Funeral Home, 1503 Union St. (at McClellan St.) Schenectady, NY, 12309. Funeral service with be conducted at 3 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial immediately following in St. Adalbert Cemetery, Schenectady, NY.
