Siri Pardi Obituary

Siri Lynn (Mayfield) Pardi Niskayuna - Siri Lynn (Mayfield) Pardi passed away suddenly on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at the age of 69.
Siri was born on July 9, 1954, to the late George Hilton Mayfield and Brita (Olson) Male. In her childhood and into adulthood, Siri also knew the love of her late stepfather, Ken Male. She was a 1972 graduate of Niskayuna High School and then attended Ellis School of Nursing where she earned her R.N. degree. She continued her education at Maria College earning her bachelor's degree.
On May 2, 1981, Siri wed Louis J. Pardi. Siri began her career as an R.N. at Ellis Hospital. She then worked locally as a Nurse Supervisor at Baptist Nursing Home.
Siri was a devoted matriarch who provided a beautiful, warm, loving home for her family. She was always charitable at heart and always generous and supportive to family and close friends. She was an amazing baker and cook, and a clever crafter. Siri was an excellent mother to her three children whom she adored, always their confidante, their defender, and their greatest fan. She was a loving wife and exceptional grandmother as well.
Siri always considered the needs of her loved ones first, ignoring her own and even throughout pain would not express her own hurt. She selflessly cared for her own father and mother, providing care for them until their passing.
Siri loved animals, reading and the beach. She made a point to always remember the various special occasions of all her family members, making them each feel special and loved.
Siri is survived by her beloved husband, Lou; her children; Nicholas (Francesca) Pardi, Brittany (Roseanna) Grimaldi and Adam (Melissa) Pardi. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Adelina Pardi, Dominic Pardi, Isabella Pardi, Zyler Grimaldi, and Noah Pardi. Siri is survived by her brother Mark (Margaret) Mayfield. She will also be remembered by her many nieces, nephews, great-nephew and many cousins and her best friends; She was predeceased by her brother, Gregg Mayfield and grandson Asher Louis Pardi and her beloved dogs, Rusty, Harley, Beaux, Max and Sadie.
Calling hours, to which relatives and friends are invited to attend, will be Friday, February 23, 2024 from 4 until 7 p.m. at the Gleason Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be conducted Saturday, February 24 at 10 a.m. at the funeral. Interment, following the service, will be in Niskayuna Reformed Church Cemetery, Niskayuna. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the ASPCA.
