Veronica Prall McGraw AlbanyVeronica Prall McGraw, 95, died Saturday, February 15, 2014 at the Our Lady of Mercy Life Center in Guilderland. Born in Albany, Veronica was the daughter of the late Katherine Mulvaney and Joseph Prall. She was a lifelong Albany resident and a lifelong communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church. She was also a lifetime member and former officer of the Rosary Society and former Eucharistic Minister at Blessed Sacrament. Veronica was employed for over 20 years at the Hartford Insurance Company in Delmar, retiring in the early 1980s. She was the wife of the late John H. McGraw Sr.; mother of John H. McGraw Jr. (Sandra) of Colonie, Shelia Schultz of Glenville, Robert McGraw (Mary) of Little River, SC, James McGraw (Susan) of Powder Springs, GA, Peter McGraw of Watervliet and Mary K. McGraw of Colonie; and sister of the late Joseph Prall, Mary Plantz, Frank Prall and Theresa Crowley. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildlren and great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral, 9:30 a.m., Friday morning from the Reilly & Son Funeral Home, 1200 Central Ave., Colonie and at 10:30 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church, 607 Central Ave., Albany, NY 12206. Burial will be in St. Agnes Cemetery in Menands. Calling hours will be Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
