Beverly L. Morath

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS

Beverly L. Morath (nee Henke) age 94, formerly of Mt. Prospect, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2024. She is proceeded in death by her beloved husband, Herb, her parents Max and Charlotte Henke and her brother Wayne Henke. She was a loving mother to Carin (Steve), Paul, and Nancy (Joe), a cherished grandmother of Megan (Steven), Ryan (Jenin), Sara, Kate and Kevin and proud great grandma to Lucy and Logan.

Throughout her life, Bev enjoyed organizing and attending many gatherings with family and friends in addition to keeping track of everyone's whereabouts and updating the Family Tree. Bev received her RN from West Suburban Hospital School of Nursing, her BSN from DePaul University and a Masters of Education from the University of Illinois. A lifelong nurse, Bev was a resource to many and willingly gave help and advice. She enjoyed her 25 year career as a school nurse. Bev was a longtime and active member of St. John United Church of Christ in Arlington Hts.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11am on Saturday, September 21, 2024 followed by a luncheon at St. John United Church of Christ, 308 N Evergreen, Arlington Hts, Il. 60004. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Bev's name to St. John UCC at the address above.

I loved being with Beverly! She always offered that cup of coffee and kindness she had beautiful hair and was always dressed to the T! She had such wonderful daughters and was so lucky! So glad she touched my life and left a positive memory!
