BRUNO STACHON Obituary

Bruno C. Stachon, age 80 of Winfield, IL, formerly of Lake Tomahawk, WI passed away May 10, 2022. He was the beloved husband of 59 years to Bonnie L. Stachon; loving father of Karen, Andrew (Kelley), and Brett Stachon; dear brother of Judith Thompson (Elmer), Lucille Prorok (Ray) and Joann Nash (Greg). Dear brother-in-law of Melvin Gertz. Proud grandfather of Matthew, Ryan and Haylee Stachon. Beloved uncle to Kathy (John), Tom, Craig, April (Don), and Tracy (Dan). Born in Chicago, Illinois June 28, 1941, Bruno lived in Itasca for 33 years. Bruno worked for Illinois Tool Works (ITW) for over 30 years. He retired to his favorite area "Up North" in Lake Tomahawk, WI. Bruno was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and hunting and life on Hasbrook Lake in Lake Tomahawk. A Memorial Visitation will be held at DuPage Memorial Chapel (951 W. Washington St., West Chicago) on Thursday, June 2, 2022, from 5-8 PM with a service at 7 PM. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. John the Baptist (0S233 Church Street, Winfield) on Friday, June 3, 2022 at 2:30 PM. Bruno was an active member of the Holy Family Church (Woodruff, WI) Knights of Columbus. Contributions in his memory may be made to: Knights of Columbus/Fr. Dodge Council 8950 Co.
