Carol M. Clausing

Carol M. Clausing of Surprise, AZ, formerly of Hoffman Estates, IL, was born June 28, 1948, to John and Celia (nee Pieczatkiewicz) Roth. She passed away September 30, 2025.

Carol and her husband, Robert were snowbirds for many years before moving to Surprise, AZ permanently, two years ago, to be closer to their daughter. Carol worked for the Village of Hoffman Estates, IL for almost 20 years.

Carol is survived by her husband, Robert of 56 years; children, Julie Clausing (Randy Garner), and Glenn (Katie Redding); grandchildren, Ethan, Ella Garner, Raymond Clausing; sister, Cindy (Dan Tufford); brother-in-law, Neal (Sharon).

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, John Jr., and her sister, Patricia Yakima; and brother-in-law, Dale.

In lieu of flowers, donations may to made to "Dementia Care" (Hospice of the Valley), Phoenix, AZ.

A visitation for Carol will be held Wednesday, October 15, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Glueckert Funeral Home, 1520 N Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Following the visitation will be a committal from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 2501 East Euclid Ave., Arlington Heights, IL 60004.
