CHARLES PISCITELLO Obituary

Charles V. "Chuck" Piscitello, Jr. was born in Chicago, Illinois on February 17, 1947, and has passed away suddenly on December 30, 2020, at the age of 73, in Cape Coral, Florida, where he lived with his loving wife Nancy (nee Ruck) since 2014. Chuck formerly lived in Round Lake, Illinois and Elk Grove Village, Illinois for many years. Chuck graduated from St. Benedict's High School in Chicago in 1965 before joining the United States Marine Corps in 1966. Chuck served his country with pride and valor while in Vietnam, and was the recipient of the Purple Heart award. Chuck was very proud to be a Marine and continued his service as an Honor Guard for American Legion Post 103 in Punta Gorda, Florida. Chuck worked as a skilled union pipefitter for almost forty years before he retired. He enjoyed many experiences including camping, snowmobiling, coaching soccer and baseball and water skiing. He loved hunting, fishing, bowling, golfing and spending time with friends and family. Chuck especially appreciated sharing his swimming pool with his black lab Graci Lu, and also being entertained by their cat, Trigger. Chuck is survived by his loving wife, Nancy (nee Ruck) of 22 years; his sons, Marc (Tonya) and Michael (Julie); brother, Bill (Carolyn); and grandsons, Jack, Luke and Kyle Piscitello. He also leaves behind many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, Charles V. Sr. and Ann Piscitello. A memorial service with military honors will take place at a later date in Florida. Chuck was a very loving and caring husband, father and brother and will be deeply and profoundly missed by his family and many friends. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Chuck's name to the American Stroke Association.
